Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards 2022

Four of my images reached the final round of judging in the 2022 Landscape Photographer of the Year awards, however none made it to 'the book'

Last year, one of my images was commended by the judges in the 2021 Landscape Photographer of the Year awards. The image was included in the Awards book and I was really chuffed that it was selected.

Dawn rower, Derwentwater

This year I wasn't as successful, but was still pleased to hear that four of my images reached the final round of judging stage, which, for me, is a great achievement in itself as the standard of images entered into the competition is incredibly high. Here are the four images:

Ashness Jetty sunrise

St Monans Breakwater

Misty Buttermere Pines

Dunnottar Castle sunrise

It is a great challenge to try and have an image selected in this prestigious competition, and I will be trying again next year! Well done to all of the winners and commended 2022 entries. More information about the competition can be found via this link https://www.lpoty.co.uk
